The OptiX OSN500 can form various network topologies such as ring networks and chain networks.
The OptiX OSN500 supports configuration of TM (Terminal Multiplexer) and ADM (Add/Drop Multiplexer) network element types and their hybrid configurations. Chain and ring network topologies can be formed through STM-1/STM-4 level optical interfaces.
The OptiX OSN500, as an access layer device, can be mixed with Huawei's Metro series and OSN series devices for networking. At the same time, it also supports mixed networking with third-party devices.
